Punjab National Bank (PNB), a lender in the public sector, has stated that it will soon adjust its debit card transaction limit.The bank stated that the current daily limit of Rs 50,000 for VISA Gold debit cards, platinum MasterCard cards, and Rupay cards would be increased to Rs 1 lakh.

The bank stated,Dear customers, the bank will soon change the high-end debit card transaction limit."

According to the bank's website, the VISA Gold Debit Card's daily cash withdrawal limit from an ATM will now be Rs 1 lakh, up from Rs 50,000, and the daily cash withdrawal limit from a POS will now be Rs 3,00,000.

The current limit of Rs 50,000 for Rupay Select and Visa Signature debit cards would be increased to Rs 150,000 from now on.These cards' daily limit for POS transactions would increase to Rs 500,000 from Rs 125,000.

According to a statement released by PNB, "customers are advised to set their customised limit through Internet banking, mobile banking app, PNB ATM, IVR, or by visiting the base branch."

Additionally, the bank has advised against disclosing your personal information, debit card information, or UPI PIN to anyone. It has also provided guidance on how to stay safe online.


Current cash withdrawal limit

Customers of PNB Bank have a daily cash withdrawal limit of Rs 25,000 and a one-time cash withdrawal limit of Rs 20,000.For PNB customers, the daily POS transaction limit is Rs 60,000.However, only bank-issued Master Classic Debit and Rupay cards are subject to this limit.

In addition, PNB customers are limited to a daily cash withdrawal limit of Rs 50,000.The daily and one-time cash withdrawal limits for Visa Gold Debit Card holders are Rs 125,000 and Rs 20,000, respectively.
