India which is in 2nd stage of COVID-19 spread has called a nationwide ’21 days lockdown’ to minimize stage 3 damage. WHO Chairman Dr. Tredos said, “India has the ability to defeat Corona and it’s a good thing that they have decided to lockdown much earlier“.
Countries, where strict decisions are not taken at the right time and precautions, are not taken, there is a bad effect on this. In such a situation, the challenge before everyone is to take the right steps, Dr. Tredos in regards to the 3rd stage spread of the virus. Lockdown is a good step, but now India will have to find a case further he added.

Regarding lockdown, WHO’s Dr. Maria van said that it is not that you can get rid of it by applying lockdown for a time, you will have to change your plan further. And where there are more cases, care has to be taken. In such a situation, the model of China and Singapore can be adopted, because there are many decisions taken in different areas.
Dr. Tredos said that all those who come in contact with the COVID-19 patient must be kept under observation. If all this happens then the corona can be stopped from growing. In this context, experts have also highlighted the role of testing in mass to contain the spreading virus. Testing has been a front where India has fallen short. WHO also praised India’s fight against ‘Polio’ eradication. The total number of COVID-19 cases in India crossed the 600 mark with around 15 deaths being reported.
